KIND OF LIKE WATCHING PAINT DRY ON THE SET OF DARK SHADOWS
THIS WASN'T AS GHASTLY GOTHIC AS LAST WEEK'S ITALIAN PICK, BUT WAY IT WAS WAY TOO SLOW PACED. HAS A GRIM VIEW OF RURAL LIFE. HAMMY BAD GUYS. NOTABLE FOR USING THE PAGAN AMULET OF "THOR'S HAMMERS" RATHER THAN CHRISTIANITY TO FIGHT THE SATANISTS.

Goofy fun, but not for the whole family.
Let's see, you get the fabulous Helga Line strung up topless be her feet, and a pretty realistic, but somehow still funny beheadding of Paul Naschy within the first ten minutes. Jesus, what more do you want?! This one has an Ed Woodian goofball logic, bad dubbing, and plenty of luscious latinas. Yeah, it drags at times, but it's worth the price of a rental for the seventies fashions alone!
