Really bad Ed Wood, and thats saying something!
Where to begin?
Well at least this isn't Coyote Ugly, but thats about all Orgy of the Dead, a true Wood stinker, unlike the so called worst movie of all time, Plan 9, which is good.
Oh theres boobs, but not much else, while it was probably shocking originally, now its just boring and dull.

michael "psychotronic" weldon calls "orgy of the dead" "one of the greatest movies ever made." i wouldn't go that far, but it is essential. a young couple crashes their car and enters some limbo between life and death (i guess, i doubt if even writer ed wood was sure what all this meant). they stumble upon a graveyard scene where criswell rises from a coffin and has attractive female spirits, representing various ethnic groups, do nude interpretive dances for his entertainment, and that of his beautiful, "morticia" looking consort. the photography is atmospheric and surprisingly good, if you ignore the day / night mismatches between the "orgy" and the stock footage. woodian lines like "to love the cat is to be the cat" and "a pussycat is born to be whupped" abound. this is my favorite of the ed wood movies i've seen, and i'd recommend it to the first time wood curious.
