I WATCHED THIS TWICE, AND I LIKED IT A LOT BETTER THE FIRST TIME. ITS INTERESTING TO LOOK AT BUT INANE. IT DIDN'T HELP ANY THAT THE COMMENTARY OPTION CAME UP AS THE DEFAULT, AND I WAS SUBJECTED TO THE DIRECTOR'S AND THE SPECIAL EFFECTS GUY'S GIGGLE FEST. THEIR MAIN DELIGHT WAS THE INJURIES THAT THE ACTORS TOOK MAKING THIS. THESE DOOFUSES MAKE TARENTINO LOOK HEALTHY. FROM WATCHING VIDEOS LIKE THIS, TALKING TO OTHER PEOPLE, AND READING, ITS OBVIOUS THAT JAPANESE POP CULTURE TAKES THE RAPE OF WOMEN AND YOUNG GIRLS TO BE HIGH ENTERTAINMENT. SO SUE ME.

Stupid Stupid Stupid.
Interested in what Japanese horror is like, I decided to check this out. Apparently, Tetsuo is a fluke because this film is loaded with cliché and general badness. This basically plays like a Friday the 13th film with a group of TV produces splitting up to explore the scene of a snuff film video they received. Shockingly enough, they are picked off one by one and the modus operandi often defies logic and the basic principles of physics. There is the token rape scene, which never ever adds to film in my opinion as well as the couple who sneak off to have sex and are quickly dispatched thereafter. Also of note is the directly rip-offed maggots-falling-from-the-ceiling scene from Suspiria. All in all, forgettable, unoriginal, and stupid.
