absolutely incredible Euro Spy stuff
I saw this on late night TV in Sydney sometime during the 70's. Then I managed to get a proper copy on laserdisc a few years ago. Mario Bava is one stylish director, his other films are just beautifully shot & this film is just so much style, but in that funky Italian way. John Phillip Law cuts a rather elusive figure as the black leather clad criminal who is driving the authorities mad with his capers. His underground lair is a spacious haunt that beats Batmans ahands down. The Beastie Boys did a parody of this film in one of their film clips (forgot the song -hello NAsty album) & used the artwork for one of their X-large tshirts. Morricone's music is just begging to be released as a soundtrack. The theme song "Deep down" turned up on an Enio compilation. Just awesome filmaking. If you like this track down the "superargo' movies or "Paris city Incident" film. Excellent, more B-grade, but fun nonetheless.

The BEST, and last, movie MST3K ever ripped on
Body Movin, if you've ever seen that video from the Beastie Boys than you've "Seen" this movie. An nifty little B-Grade Italian spy flick which was the movie on the LAST episode of Mystery Science Theatre 3000, and was actually he best movie they've ever watched. Good for pure entertainment.
