Only movie to glorify street racing
Great flick if (and thats a big if) you are into drag racing, 55 chevys, or the early 70s. If not the movie will probably bore you as it did my wife.

Too cool
This movie is so cool, I can't stand it. Really. Lots of atmosphere. You think something's going to happen but it never does. From the very beginning I was intrigued. It was too intriguing to just be a film about cars. But, as it turns out, it is just a film about cars.

Not just about Cars
This film stars James Taylor (the singer)as the Driver and Dennis Wilson (of the Beach Boys) as the Mechanic. It also stars a 55 Chevy in grey primer with no back seat. When it was first released it gave us a view of our icons that was unprecedented at that time. A cult classic from the word GO.
