despite a title that would make beavis and butthead giggle, "aswang" is smart and achieves intense creepiness. from joe bob briggs: An ancient Filipino vampire cult lives in rural Wisconsin and eats live fetuses in this right-to- lifer nightmare that's so nasty, gory, puky and gross that you'll need to clean your vcr heads after you watch it. from liz “and you call yourself a scientist” smith: “It’s been some considerable time since I saw a film that contained as many truly disgusting elements as Aswang.
