Rage..not like Citizen Kane Rage
My favorite thing about this film is the way Ang Lee captures the Hulks rage during actions sequences its manic its off the hook the Hulk is just apoplectic how else could you break off a tanks turrent and beat another tank with it I've been that mad before but lee captures it like no one else could!

Bum Rap
This movie got a bum rap because it didn't pander to audience expectations. No action porn (Bad Boys II) or irony (Pirates of the Carribean)or comforting formulas (T3) to be found here. The film goes into wayward and yet euphoric directions: The Hulk dreaming of Banner while falling from the sky; David Banner (Nick Nolte) and Bruce Banner (Eric Bana) tete a tete transmogrifying into one of the weirdest climaxes in cinema. This movie sums up what Marvel Comics use to be back in the days of Lee, Kirby and Ditko. It's less superhero slugfest than a pop art tragedy. Recommended
