i don't buy this as "art" but i'll admit its highly entertaining in parts. new yorkers always seem to equate offensiveness with radicalism, and this is "punk" to boot. the high point has to be lydia eating "lunch" while her "poetry" moans on the soundtrack about how she couldn't get enough degradation but it made her feel "in control." i never did figure out which asshole was the pre-steroidal henry rollins. how do these 'wipes escape the ridicule bestowed on the "hippies?" some of the "militants" did porno to prove their hardness, but all you see in the media are the smiling vegetables.

Young Man Henry Rollins
Henry Rollins is the guy (In The Right Side Of My Brain part?)that comes trouncing out of the woods. He has long hair and is more skinny than he is now (and has several less tatoos. Anyways, he comes into the room, finds the hiding kid; and then shakes the little bastard. He then shakes and roughs up Lydia Lunch a bit. He wasn't nominated for an Oscar.
