Must-Must viewing
This is simply put, a 'must must' see movie.
Its got drama, comedy, exceptional REAL kung-fu, and
-oh my gosh!- a solid story!!! Stars Yuen Biao, Sammo Hung
and Lam Ching-Ying! A fun and often poignant movie about
a young martial artist who is not very good (his father pays off the whole
town so that his son's ego won't be crushed as well as his body), but
who eventually finds his way to a real, though reluctant, master (Lam).
Frankie Chan plays a government official who spends his down time cruising around
with his two bodyguards (who, unknown to Chan, are under orders from a father who
doesn't want his son to lose). So the question is "who is the real prodigal son"?
Oh, Sammo plays a fellow student to Lam's character; they bicker but really have
great respect for one another. rent or buy, you'll watch it again and again!
