Meng Fei & Tan Tao Liang
This is a very generic chop-socky starring
Meng Fei (Punch of Death, King of Boxers) and
Dorian Tan Tao Liang (Shaolin deadly Kicks, The Heroes).
Far from the best either has ever been in and
basically a forgettable movie- I don't recall the plot,
and I can recall a lot of movies!
Meng Fei was ok as an actor/fighter, but not great. His best
work was when he was younger and more lith, as he was
in Kung fu Punch of Death and Kig of Boxers. But then
he gained a bit of weight and decided to imitate Jackie Chan's
(in confidence, not in skills!) role in Snake and Crane Arts of Shaolin (GREAT MOVIE!)
and it just never worked. Its worth watching both just to compare
them!
Tan Tao Liang was always hit or miss, usually miss; though he was a
great fighter, he wasn't much on acting.
So in other words: this movie need not go at the top of your
list. Its available on dvd (seems a little scarce though), though
as a friend and a brother I'd rent if yoe are curious.
